Young Runaways – A Definition:

Plymouth Young Runaways team defines a child or young person as a boy or girl under the age of 18.

Running away is difficult to define and may mean different things to different people but our definition of a “Runaway” is that of;

“a young person who’s whereabouts are unknown, whatever the circumstances of their disappearance,  who are missing without permission and who will be considered missing until located and their well-being or otherwise is established.”
