Police Target Net Safety

Police manned a stand in PC World displaying short films and information about the dangers of online activity for children and young people. 

This was part of a city wide Day of Action over last weekend targetting crime all over the city with 148 extra officers on duty.

Online safety for young people is an area of high concern presently as the growth of social networking sites pose an increased risk to children on the net.
